Internationally, we witnessed the most extravagant NYFW this year where the top rated designers such as Michael Kors and Prabal Gurung showcased their first ever Plus size clothing collection with the most number of plus size women ever on any big fashion show like this.
We witnessed the much famous Ashley Graham- who is the most famous name in the industry of plus size models walked along with other plus size models on Michael Kors fashion show engaging a huge spark in the fashion industry widely accepting the plus size models.
There was the time when women were often criticized for their plus size shape and were never considered eligible for being a model. But there are women like Ashley who has been constantly working on these issues making it to the Vogue America cover earlier this year sharing the space with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
Now that made me think that Plus size modeling is a real thing which is going to flourish pretty rapidly.
