Perfectly shaped eyebrow can carve you entire face beautifully whereas adverse of this can totally ruin your entire look. From ages, we have been using the conventional methods of carving out our brows i.e. threading, which is a nightmare for many of us (thanks to the super sensitive skin). One of the method that all of us are totally unaware of is to use an eyebrow razor. Well, that may sound a bit scary to us because of several myths related to shaving that need to be busted. Trust us, it’s totally worth using an eyebrow razor to get perfect eyebrows if you know the followings steps:-
Contents
1. Prep Up
Take a warm water bath (Lukewarm to be precise) as it will loosen down the hair follicles by allowing the pores to open up a bit. Warm water has the tendency to allow your muscles and pores to relax which could make the hair removing process easier.
2. Moisturise
Moisturising your skin and brows is the most important part of shaping up your eyebrows. This will ensure your skin safety before shaving and will make the process painless.
3. Make An Outline Or Stencil
Now you have to make a stencil with a brow pencil. Make sure to use an eyebrow brush to comb out your brow perfectly so as to get an idea of how exactly you have to shape them up. You have to be as precise as you could to get the perfect brow shape and to ignore any mistake while doing so.
4. Get Rid of The Excess
As you have already made a stencil by brushing out your brows with fluffy strokes, now it is simpler for you to remove the excess outside of the stencil as you can trace those extra grown hair fibres easily.
5. Work On Detailing
Grip the razor straight and use the “vertical comb attachment” of your razor to get rid of hair strands going right between your brows, right above your nose. Take smaller strokes in a direction opposite to that of your usual hair growth.
6. Clean Off Everything
With the help of a soft towel, clean off the excess hair which you just shaved off. Change the tip of the razor if needed from square to horizontal and head to shave further.
7. Remove The Outgrown Hair
Usually, one doesn’t have outgrown hair above your eyebrows, but if you do have few remove them by keeping your razor straight and shaving off the excess hair in the direction of hair growth.
8. Balance Out Everything
For the hair beneath your brows, start from the upper points and drag down the razor carefully to remove all the excess hair. You have to be very cautious for this area as it is right above your eyes. The trick is to start from your arches and move along the lower section in tighter strokes. Keep your hand still and not shaky at all. Finally, look into the mirror and balance out both the brows.
9. Clean Up Everything And Get Perfect Eyebrows
Clean up everything with a wet towel or warm water and apply brow gel or aloe vera gel to avoid any inflammation or irritation in that area.
