The show streamed both new and commercial tracks along with the tracks mixed by guests. Chinapa’s music company ‘Submerge Music’ promotes up and coming DJ’s and music events. He once collaborated with the online fashion brand Koovs.com in September 2014, for promoting a new elite clothing line for men. He also has been a part of Asia’s leading music fest the ‘Sunburn’ Goa edition, as a Festival Director. Nikhil Chinapa also co-hosted the Maldives Travel Awards 2014 with Mariyam Waheeda.

Nikhil Chinapa Film Career

Apart from being a disco jockey, a radio jockey and a television presenter, Nikhil Chinapa has also tried himself as an actor. Nikhil made his film debut in the year 2000 with a movie named ‘Snip’. Sunil Sippy was the director of this movie.  The movie had senior actors like Makrand Deshpandy and Saurabh Shukla. The movie became controversial as it had many steamy scenes between Nikhil Chinapa and actress Sophia Haque. Chinapa has also been a part of movies like the Shahrukh Khan starer ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007, the multi-starer ‘Dus’ in 2005 and the John Abraham & Sanjay Dutt starer ‘Zinda’ in 2006. He has also played the character of Ravi S Pillai in the 2003 Bollywood movie ‘Pyaar Kiya Nahin Jaatha’.

Nikhil Chinapa, in spite of being a co-founder of the ‘Sunburn’ music fest, which was organized in Goa, has now cut off his ties from the ‘Sunburn’ franchise. Chinapa is now the festival curator and partner of the famous music fest franchise ‘Vh1 Supersonic’, which has turned out to be Goa’s all new music festival.
