Today, we welcome Sunila who runs a beautiful blog called “Suni Unsuni“ to Baggout. Getting straight to the interview
BG- Tell us something about yourself. Which three words would describe you best?
Sunila- Oh it’s been up and down. I changed 5 professions in the past seven years, chucked a lucrative content writing job to start my jewellery store. And then took my store online to concentrate on creative writing.
Three words? I’ll hyphen them. Passionate-Writer, Busy-Mother, Professional-Jeweller
BG- How would you describe your blog in one sentence?
Sunila- Trying to make a difference…one word at a time.
BG- How long have you been blogging? What do you like most about blogging?
Sunila- I’ve been blogging on and off since 2007 but actively resumed it only early this year. Blogging for me works because I have always wanted to write for a newspaper…without the duress of going through an editor. But since we all know how tough it is to crack into the ranks of a freelance writer, I can do it on my own and also send it out to people who I think would be interested in reading the stuff I write.
BG- What is your Favorite Online Shopping Destination?
Sunila- www.flipkart.com. Best deals and best service and delivery.
BG- What was your first purchase using your own money?
Sunila- When I was eighteen, I made a small amount of money doing market research. I spent this money helping out a friend who had started her business. She made her first sale which was my first major purchase: a teeny weeny diamond ring. This year my daughter turns 10 and it’s going to be my gift to her…my very first purchase.
BG- What is your Craziest Purchase in last three months?
Sunila- A horribly expensive dinner for some friends at a five-star restaurant last weekend. While the food wasn’t so exorbitant, the cost of drinks made me weep. I didn’t imagine that drinking out was sooooo soooo expensive…cuz normally, my bar at home is stocked.;)
BG- If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what five items would you want with you?
Sunila-
- My tablet filled with ebooks
- A fishing rod
- Portable water filter
- Sunscreen
- A large Umbrella
8. How do you think can Baggout help you while shopping online?
I normally go to naaptol or some other website to do comparisons. I am not sure if these comparisons are genuine or PR driven. So it works just awesomely if I can get information about deals right from the horses’ mouths…so to speak. In that way, it works awesomely because I can get access to some awesome deals.
BG – Thanks Sunila for your interview. I hope our users will like it!!!
With Lots of Love
