BG – Tell us something about yourself. Which three words would describe you best?
Roxanne – One of the best Fashion Bloggers in IndiaRD – As a stylist and a part time blogger, I’m always on the go. Everything about me is quick paced. Also at the same time, I’m reserved at times, and my style would be described as very simple on a daily basis
BG – How would you describe your blog in one sentence?
RD – This is tough.
BG – What is your Favorite Shopping Destination?
RD – Mumbai! I think you can buy the most craziest and reasonable things from the streets.
Also Milan. And no I’m not some big shot, I went there to study for a while, and I promised myself, I would not splurge on anything, but to my surprise, there had so many bargains and discounts in little boutiques and high street stores.
At the end, when it was time to return, I had to send all my things back via post!
BG – Five beauty essentials in your bag.
RD – I’m really not a make-up person. Minimal is my key word. So my essentials would be a nice bright lipstick, some concealer, a lip balm, kajal and a compact powder.
BG – Five wardrobe essentials you cannot live without.
RD – Denims! I can’t live without my jeans. Then a tiny black cardigan/shrug, to add some modesty (if needed) to any outfit. An LBD, no explanations needed here. A tan bag, tan because it’s neutral and can be carried with all colours, and a pair of comfy ballet flats.
BG – If you could peak into someone’s wardrobe, whose wardrobe would it be and Why?
RD – Anna Della Russo. I love her designer gear and her risque style. Maybe if we become friends I can definitely borrow some of her clothes *wink*
BG – What is your Craziest Purchase in last three months?
RD – I’ve curbed my impulsive ways, and have not made an crazy purchase recently. Now I feel sad.
BG – If you have to do your own fashion show, who would you like to invite as a showstopper?
RD – Lady Gaga? You may love to hate her, but I think she would be the best show stopper ever. And she’s been one already. So she isn’t new to it.
BG – One fashion tip every woman should follow?
RD – This may sound clichéd, but be yourself. What might look good on one person, might look terrible on another, so do not follow trends blindly. Find those that suit you and your body type, and don’t let fashion magazines, television or even bloggers tell you what you should wear. They are all just inspiration. In the end, you make your own choices.
BG – What does Baggout mean to you?
RD – To me Baggout is a ‘if you got it, you flaunt it’ site. It’s also a fab way to see what’s hot, and who’s getting what, and a fantastic idea to create a ‘wish list’ so that you can throw around hints when it’s your birthday!
