Diva of the week – Jagriti

Today, we welcome Jagriti to Baggout’s series on “Interviews with Style Divas”. She runs a beautiful blog LoveArtFashion and is a designer at ItsHandMade.

BG – Tell us something about yourself. Which three words would describe you best?

Jagriti – Over the past few years, my personal style has evolved from following the high street fashion to my own sense of style- quirky, comfortable yet feminine. I guess this also reflects in the clothes and bags I design through my label.

BG – How would you describe your blog in one sentence?

Jagriti – I try to keep it interesting and relevant to the followers- including bits of fashion news, DIY posts, international trends and how to include them into our wardrobes!

BG – What is your Favorite Online Retailer?

Jagriti – I would say Myntra has a good collection of products online.

BG – Five beauty essentials in your bag.

Jagriti – Im not much of a make-up person; I only carry my M.A.C Fuchsia Fix lip conditioner when I step out. But here’s what I think are good options- an all day wear kohl, lip tint that can also double as cheek blusher, face compact for humid weather and a small bottle of perfume 🙂

BG – Five wardrobe essentials you cannot live without.

Jagriti – A white t-shirt, my faded blue jeans, a cute sling, my black Aldo boots and a well fitted, sexy LBD!

BG – If you could peak into someone’s wardrobe, whose wardrobe would it be and Why?

Jagriti –  Priyanka Chopra! I love her sense of style and all her red carpet looks.

BG – What is your Craziest Purchase in last three months?

Jagriti – I haven’t splurged crazily in the last few months but every now and then I indulge in retail therapy 🙂  Recently I kept an angel theme tote from my own collection for personal use, a piece I couldnt bring myself to part with!

BG – If you have to do your own fashion show, who would you like to invite as a showstopper?

Jagriti – Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling- he makes everything looks sexy, and I’m meeting him one way or the other!

BG – One fashion tip every woman should follow?

Jagriti – It is to know your body- and wear what looks good and what you are comfortable carrying off.  Also, confidence is the best accessory that never goes out of style!

BG – What does Baggout mean to you?
