Interview Of Jyoti Arora, An awesome Blogger

Today, we welcome Jyoti who runs a beautiful blog called “TechnO Treats“ to Baggout. Getting straight to the interview 

 

BG- Tell us something about yourself. Which three words would describe you best?

Jyoti-  I love reading. And my love of reading has given me the dream of writing books too and establishing myself as a novelist loved by readers all over the world. Big dream, I know, and all I can do is to strive and try my best to make it come true. I’m doing that as best as I can.

My first novel, Dream’s Sake, was released in 2011, published by V&S Publishers and distributed by Pustak Mahal. It earned me some great reviews by readers and critics. I have recently completed my second novel too. But that is not yet published. I also have three blogs, all giving evidence to my diverse interests. One is my personal blog, one is Techn0Treats, a technology blog. The third is Golden-Stp (Golden Smiles n Tears of Poetry), dedicated to classic English poetry.

I am a patient of Thalassemia Major since birth. Due to this, I require blood transfusion every month and had to stop going to school after class seventh. After that, I pursued my education on my own, through correspondence courses. I went on to do Post Graduation in English Literature and also in Applied Psychology. From 2007 to 2012, I worked as a freelance writer. Most of my work as a freelance writer involved in developing books for kids and abridging English classics.

The three words that, I think, describe me best are Hope, Dream, Striving, because despite what struggles I have to face in my life, I try my best to hold on to my hopes and dreams. These hopes and dreams are what give me strength to strive on and work hard to make my dream come true.

 

BG- How would you describe your blog in one sentence?

Jyoti- My blog, Techn0Treats, is about technological treats like apps, websites, gadgets that I love, described in simple and friendly language.

 

BG- How long have you been blogging? What do you like most about blogging?

Jyoti- I have been blogging since 2011. My blog Techn0Treats is getting great response. I started blogging because I wanted to have a place to express my views, opinions, ideas and to share my delight at the technological wonders I was experiencing. What I love best about blogging is the response I get from my readers, and also the attention I am now getting from PR agencies representing big names like Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Microsoft, Asus etc. It is great fun to attend the launch events of new devices and to get to try them before they arrive in market.

 

BG- What is your Favorite Online Shopping Destination?

Jyoti-  I shop most often from Flipkart, Jabong and Myntra.

 

BG- What was your first purchase using your own money?

Jyoti-  Chocolates for my younger sister.

 

BG- What is your Craziest Purchase in last three months?

Jyoti-  Bought a bracelet from a new website. It proved to be a crazy purchase because the real product did not appear at all worthy of its price. Did not turn to that website again.

BG-  If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what five items would you want with you?

Jyoti-  I would want only one thing. A bottle with a genie trapped in it. If I have that, I sure won’t be trapped on that desert island for long!

 

BG- How do you think can Baggout help you while shopping online?
