The fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken has taken its motto of “finger lickin’ good” food to a literal extreme by launching edible nail polishes in Hong Kong this week.The major question that rises is “Would you really want it to remain on your fingers? Indefinitely?”
Ogilvy and Mather worked with sustenance technologists at McCormick, the flavor organization that gives KFC’s mystery blend of 11 mystery herbs and flavors, to create the nail polish for KFC Hong Kong. The polish flavors are sourced from natural ingredients and based on the brand’s two favorite recipes, Original and Hot & Spicy. KFC did launch this stuff and its not at all a prank but definitely, they are not mass producing it as of till now but just for the Hong Kongers so as to promote their brand among them.
So yes this nail polish do taste like chicken or we could say like their coating on the chicken.The Brand mentioned in a statement during some conference , “To use, consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick—again and again and again,”
This could only make the serial nail biters happy who also loves to have KFC’s stuff,they must just be living their dream right now,LOL!
