Sunny Leone Walked The Ramp For NFW And Bashed Comments On Body Shaming!!

Sunny Leone walked the ramp at NFW 2016 for the Indian designer Kochhar who  showcased her collection A Tale of Two Travels where one of the leading models was the acid attack survivor Reshma Qureshi. During the show, Sunny confessed that she was scared of tripping and shared few failures from her past that you may find interesting and her view on body shaming.

After the show, Sunny revealed that she was rejected as a model by several criticizers who called her too fat and short to be a model. As a child, her dream was to be a successful model until she faced the reality and people bashed her on body shaming. People took her for granted and this disappointed her to extreme levels.

On the fear of tripping:

“I was so nervous about tripping and falling. Also, this has been a dream for so long, I didn’t believe it was happening.”

On acid attack survivor Reshma Qureshi:

“I did get a chance to spend time with Reshma Quereshi and she is a doll. I wish her all the best in life and I admire her strength and determination.”

On Body Shaming And Fashion Police:

“I always find it interesting, the ones doing the policing are not well dressed at all, and what I mean is mainly grooming aspects. So it’s fine if they hate what I wear because I love it and am happy wearing it. Fashion is subjective to each and everyone of us,

Right From The Heart Of A Young Girl:

“It was such an amazing feeling. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a model and when I turned 18, I tried. I was told I was too short, too fat, too commercial or they were just not interested

Bashing those body shaming comments people passes:

This is my big ‘screw the negative people’ moment because this too short, too fat, too commercial girl got to walk at New York Fashion Week,”
