This Daughter is Following Her Comedian Father’s Footsteps – Who Needs Sons Anymore!!

If I ask you for the name of your favorite comedian; it is certain that you would take one of 5-10 names including Mahmood, Kadar Khan, Johnny lever, Kishor Kumar, Jaspal Bhatti and Kapil Sharma. But, Johnny Lever is one name which has stood the test of time and he has been entertaining us for over two decades now. Who can forget his performances in movies ranging from Baazigar to Housefull 2.

But, I am not sure if you know about a young girl named “Jamie Lever”. She has been quietly doing some great stuff on Indian Comedy scene and has been applauded by almost every great comedian. Jamie started her career in 2012 with Comedy Store and performed in Comedy Circus (on Sony Channel) in 2013.

She started her Bollywood career with the movie “Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon” starring Kapil Sharma and played the role of his maid in the movie. I am sure that most people did not recognize her as the daughter of the legendary “Johnny Lever” but that is How down to Earth this father-daughter duo is.

Jamie is so Down to Earth in spite of having a super successful father. It speaks a lot about her character as well as her upbringing.

She has in fact accepted the fact that she was welcomed in the industry solely for the reason that she was the daughter of Johnny bhai.

But the fact is that she is no less than her father. Jamie has such a great comic timing. Just have a look at how she mimics the legendary Asha Bhosle here.

Now she is debuting in “Sabse Bada Kalakaar” show on Sony Entertainment Television and appeared on Kapil Sharma Show for promotions of the same. We just loved the whole episode.
