Jeans are essential in almost everyone’s wardrobe for a reason. They’re easy to wear, they can be dressed up or down. They come in so many different shapes, sizes, and colors. No matter how old you grow, your college jeans would still be your favorite one to wear. The versatility of the jeans makes us want more of them. But while there are many, many great things about a good pair of jeans, there are also many annoying things about them. Foe example, you’re not supposed to wash real denim because it will fade your jeans. So there are some denim hacks every girl needs to follow which will help you to not throw your favorite denim:-

1. Bad Odor

As we all know if we wash denims on a regular basis, they tend to fade and age early. But there are some days when your jeans get dirty. To avoid the bad odor, put your jeans in a zip lock bag and let it sit in the freezer overnight.

2. Keep It Unshrunked

If we wash a new pair of denim, it will shrink by 2 sizes. No one wants that, of course. So try washing your denim in cold water and dry it for 10 minutes in the dryer. And you will get a denim which will never shrink again.

3. Bleeding Denim

You bought a new dark blue denim, but it is leaving color on your hands. Wash the denim in salt water, it will help the dye to set more properly.

4. Remove Those Stains

Got an oil stain on your favorite pair of denims, no worries. We have got a solution, put some baking soda on it and clean it with the help of toothpaste. And wash it, you will get an oil free jeans.

5. Tighter Jeans

If you are looking for tighter jeans, then try this trick, machine wash your jeans with hot water and machine dry with high heat, and you would see a tighter jeans to flaunt your toned legs.

Use a bleach mixture to bring a unique look by decorating your denim with bleach. You need a pencil with eraser, which you can dip in bleach mixture and then can create floral designs, polka dots, hearts etc. On the jeans.

8. DIY Hems

Instead of taking your long jeans to the tailor to adjust the length. You can cut it at your home only with some scissors. It will you a semi cropped look with the right amount of fraying.

9. Super Frayed Denims

To get the super frayed denim look. You just need some scissors to cut the hemline at a certain length, and you just need to pull the thread out of it. The more you pull the threads out, the more frayed hemline you will get.
