Different Methods To Add Cucumber In Your Daily Skincare Routine!!

Cucumbers are natural coolers for a human body. And cucumbers are considered to be have many health benefits. But cucumber is not just for eating, you can drink cucumber juice for skin that is healthy and beautiful. Or apply it on your skin directly and watch it work its magic.  Cucumber has 96 percent of water that spells hydration, hydration and hydration only. Water is not all that cucumber contains, it also has other nutrients like magnesium and potassium. Cucumber also gives benefits of healthy gums and fresh breath, sparkling eyes without the bags, dark circles and puffiness and beautiful skin. There are many different methods to add cucumber in your daily skincare routine.

1. Removes Tanning

As we know our skin darkens because of the melanin content of the skin. And cucumber is a natural skin whitener and bleach which makes it good for sun tan removal. The skin-whitening effect of cucumber is also due to the antioxidant activity of cucumber extract.

2. Anti-Ageing Benefits

Cucumber is extremely beneficial for firming up the skin and tightening it. Use of cucumber helps and and it rather reverses the signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles and dull skin. This happens due to the extract of  manganese and potassium in cucumber.

3. Fades Dark Circles

Cucumbers have certain ability to remove dark circles safely and quickly. Just place 2 pieces of cucumber on your eyes or soak 2 cotton pads in cucumber juice and place it on your eyes for 20 minutes. Cucumber helps remove dark circles because of all the anti-oxidants and silica available in it.

4. Reduce Puffy Eyes

If you are worried about that under eye puffiness, don’t worry! Cucumbers have ascorbic acid in them, so if you keep cucumber on your eye for 20 minutes. It will decrease water retention which helps removing overall puffiness of the eyes.

5. No Freckles!

Make a face pack of grated cucumber with 1 table spoon of honey. Apply this face pack on your face and neck, leave it for 20 minutes on regular basis. It can reduce overall appearance of freckles over time.

6. Eject Cellulite

Cucumber can banish that extra cellulite on your pretty thighs. Just take 1/2 cup of ground coffee and mix it with cucumber juice and 1 table spoon of raw honey to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on most affected area and wrap it with a muslin fabric for 30 minutes. Eating cucumbers also help reducing cellulite.

7. Controls Acne

Cucumber contains antioxidants and it helps relieve it from clogged pores and excessive oil. Mix some cucumber pulp, turmeric powder and some drop of fresh lemon juice. Apply this on the affected area and leave it to dry for 15 minutes. Wash well with water.
