2. Dish Soap
Put a few drops of liquid dish detergent in a bowl of lukewarm water. Allow the jewellery to sit in the water for about 15-30 minutes. As it soaks, warm soapy water will work its way into the cracks and crevices. Use a soft toothbrush to remove any hidden dirt in your jewellery piece.
3. Toothpaste
Squeeze about an inch of toothpaste into a bowl and mix with a tablespoon water to make a light paste. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and toothpaste to gently scrub off grime the dirt. As we clean our teeth after brushing, rinse your jewellery well after with water to remove toothpaste from it.
4. Baking Soda + Vinegar
Cleaning your gold and gemstone jewellery couldn’t be easier with a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar. Simply drop the jewellery into the mix of baking soda and vinegar and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove and scrub with a soft-bristled toothbrush, if it is necessary.
