Hiten Tejwani, this name might not remind of who this guy is but, when you’ll have a look at his photo, you’ll definitely recognise him. Hiten was born on 5 March, 1974 (43) is an Indian Television Actor. Hiten was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to a Sindhi Family. Hiten completed his schooling from Saint Francis D’assisi High School in Mumbai itself. Hiten completed his graduation from Jai Hind College. Hiten is popularly known for his role of “Karan Virani‘ in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap “Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

Hiten Tejwani’s father’s name is Jethanand Tejwani who was a cloth merchant and his mother’s name is Asha, who was a homemaker. Hiten Tejwani got married to his Kutumb co-star Gauri Pradhan on 29th April 2004. The duo became proud parents of twins Neevan and Katya in 2009. Even after 13 years of marriage, the couple shares a strong bond with each other and never fails to impress their fans with their romance.
In the year 2000, Hiten was launched in Balaji Telefilms’ Ghar Ek Mandir where he played the role of Gautam. The show featured Ram Kapoor and his wife Gautami in lead roles. It was one of the very first serial of Balaji Telefilms that took the audience by storm. The show was loved by all and so were the actors. Hiten did two more shows – Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli and Kahin Kisii Roz and later bagged Kutumb which made him a popular TV star.
When Karan Johar chose to invite some of the leading men of the Indian Television, he invited Hiten Tejwani Along with Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy. The trio was thankful to TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor for giving the platform to name and fame.
In an interview, he admitted that he has been married twice. The more surprising part about this fact was that his first marriage lasted only for 11 months. Hiten said that he was unwilling to talk in detail about his previous marriage, but owned that he was responsible for its failure. At the start of his acting career, he was unable to give his wife and their arranged marriage the time they deserved. Their relationship didn’t turn to love and they realised that it was best to separate before they had kids. After that, he made a decision to marry only for love. It is not confirmed about who was his first wife, but according to said reports, she used to live in Malaad and worked in a Call Center.
Hiten Tejwani made his debut in a reality show as a host, which was Ratan Rajput’s Swayamwar season 3. Later, Hiten appeared in as a guest contestant in “Kya Aap Panchwi Pass Se Tez Hain”. Hiten Tejwani has also hosted shows like Nach Baliye 4 with her wife Gauri Pradhan Tejwani and Savdhan India @11.
Hiten Tejwani has joined one of the biggest controversial show Bigg Boss season 11. Hiten is said to be one of the calmest contestant of the show Yet! He has quipped that he will be one of the nicest among all the housemates. It would be really interesting to see one of the sweetest and coolest personality, testing his temper and calmness when aggression and drama flares around him.
Before entering the house while standing with Salman Khan, Hiten confessed that even though he has not even picked up a glass in his house, he is looking forward to enjoy the chores in the house.
I will try my best to learn cooking from the other housemates. If not that, at least I will master the art of cutting vegetables (laughs). I really plan to impress my friends and family once I am out with my new found culinary skills.

Hiten made his debut in the Film Industry with “Joggers Park”. The Director of the film was Subhash Ghai. Hiten played a role of leading actress’s friend. Later he appeared in a horror movie Krishna Cottage and then he did a cameo in Akshay Kumar starring Entertainment. He has appeared in total 8 movies as of yet. Saansein was his recent movie, which was released in 2016.
Hiten has won awards 2 times for Best Actor and 3 times for best supporting role. All these awards were for the one serial he got fame in the industry, which was “Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu The”. Later in 2010, he got ITA milestone award for the same serial.
Hiten featured in numerous TV commercial advertisements for popular brands like Closeup Renew, Breeze Soap and TVS Scooty. He appeared in the Breeze soap advertisement with his wife Gauri Pradhan.
