Everything About Virat And Anushka, Right From Their First Meeting

2013 was the year when public and media went viral with couple’s news as a Match made in Heaven.  A commercial ad for a shampoo brand in 2013 was enough to express their relationship in a precise manner.

Slowly and Slowly, this couple became a hot topic in many NEWS Channel documentaries. This ultimately gave a boost to their already burgeoning popularity.

Prominent newspapers and monthly magazines always found a good reason in publishing such stories. The popularity of these lovebirds was so infectious that media left no stones unturned in gathering information. VIRAT and ANUSHKA’S whereabouts were one of such pieces of information.

Events Which Showed “They Are Made For Each Other”

At vacation places, they always shared their presence on social media. The cricketer was openly seen with her Bollywood actress girlfriend. Wherever this couple went to, their trip got substantial media coverage.

Once, these lovebirds were spotted shopping on the streets of London. Virat Kohli had a 5-day break between the 2nd and the 3rd test match against West Indies. The couple was spending quality time with each other in their t-shirt and ripped jeans. They walked around the streets of London with their heavy shopping bags.

In one more event, a photo of Virat Kohli was seen showing him in London. Anushka at that time was there with the cast and crew of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. It was said that Virat was missing his girlfriend so much that he paid her a surprise visit.

Wherever they went, Virat and Anushka painted the town red with their love.

Besides this, Anushka enthralled the audience by showing her presence in the stadium. Before reaching the Century or half, Virat Kohli had someone special in the stands eagerly waiting for it.

One such instance was observed in 2014. Virat became the quickest batsman to score 6,000 runs in ODIs. Anushka was seen cheering Kohli. Virat took off his helmet, kissed it and also blew a kiss-off to Anushka, who responded with a standing ovation. 

 

But let us not forget the other side of the coin. Whenever there was a failure, the poor performance of Virat was often blamed on her presence. Anushka faced strong criticism from cricket lovers for Virat’s poor show in world cup semi-final. But Virat stood by her side and slammed those who said badly about his girlfriend. He strongly believed that Anushka Sharma should not be blamed for his poor performance.

He said “If someone is saying bad things about my partner, obviously I will get annoyed. I will get angry because that’s a very personal thing to me. You cannot sit quietly when such things are being said about your girlfriend or partner. People talk about my behaviour.

I do accept that sometimes I have crossed the line,” He further said that his relationship with Anushka grew stronger after such criticism. He added that he felt calm, stable and happy on the field because of Anushka. “It was shocking to know that people can target someone’s personal life like this. She had no relevance to the defeat. She only has a positive effect on me. But people found her guilty. Strange! My relationship with Anushka has only become stronger because of that incident,” Virat further said in the interview, adding, “We have gone through this together. We have stuck with each other through this.”
