India has won the Miss World crown after a long gap of 17 years. The last Miss World in 2000 was Priyanka Chopra.
This 21 year old Medical student has sacrificed the last one year of her ediucation to participate in the Miss India competition. She grew up idolizing Reita Faria who was the first Indian and Asian to win the Miss World crown in 1966.
