5 Food Items You Should Avoid For Hormonal Imbalance!

What we eat controls many functions of our body, from secretion to hormonal imbalance many things are affected by our eating habit. Our diet can help us to maintain the right body weight and slow the aging process.

The list given below is helpful for younger women to balance their mood swings during the menstrual cycle. Also, older women will find it beneficial to deal with the menopause or perimenopause. 1) Sugar

When it is brown sugar, white sugar or high fructose soup, sugar can exxagerate hormonal symptoms in a women’s body and it leads to hormonal imbalance. It is very important to limit the intake of sugar to balance hormones in the body.

According to a study, women in old age like 50s or 60s who limits the intake of dessert or any sweet beverage, have fitter bodies than the one who has sweet tooth and could not control it.

2) High-fat food item

According to reports, the women to take most low fat foods like- fruits, grains, and vegetables has a fewer tendency of hormonal imbalance and hot flushes. With age, the intake of low fat food should increases as it will help you to feel and stay cool.

3) Caffeinated Products

Caffeinated products harm your body like no other thing do. The basic beverages like tea coffee or even alcohol are all highly caffeinated. Try and gradually stop having the caffeinated products. And especially if you are facing an issue like night sweats or hot flushes then you should surely cut down caffeine immediately.

4) Spicy Food

Spicy food is a big no when we talk about hormonal imbalance issue. Having a hot spicy cup of sauce is not good for health. Try and stick to the basic herbs and minimal spices that spice up the food in the right amount.

5) Alcohol

Alcohol is totally caffeine, you may love sipping one, but it is not good for your health and leads to hormonal imbalance. But, if you crave for it, then drinking one glass of wine or beer during dinner time won’t affect much. Just replace your dessert with a glass of wine or beer.
