What is the Significance of Different Days of Valentine Week? [Explained]

The Valentine’s week has already started and we’re already halfway through the week. It’s promise day today and three days from now is Valentines day 2019. After receiving a lot of requests from you people to tell you about the significance of different days of valentine week, we decided to that for you.

From the starting of the week with Rose day, it is followed by many other days. Let us know about these days: Rose Day, Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day, and finally, Valentines Day 2019.

Let’s understand the significance of different days of Valentine week

Now, before we begin with these days, we must tell you that the entire Valentine week is a chain of events. You can see a lot of activities going on which have a relevance to how you actually land up in a relationship. So, all these events are the “fundamental” events of how people used to “get” their loved ones.

Rose Day (7th Feb)

There’s nothing as beautiful as a rose when it comes to gifting your loved one! The Valentine week starts with rose day on 7th February on which couples give each other roses to celebrate this day.

People also give roses to their crushes on this day to let them know that they’re “special” for them.

Propose Day (8th Feb)

After the rose day is over, propose day begins. On this day, many people propose their crushes or loved ones. People make several arrangements like pre informing the hotel or restaurants that they’ll be doing this certain activity. So, the hotel or restaurant staff co-ordinates with them.

Chocolate Day (9th Feb)

Now, this is the most awaited day of this entire Valentine week. We all know that girls love chocolates. So, despite the fact that whether they’re gonna be someone’s Valentine or not, they still expect people to gift them chocolates.

Chocolates are distributed by friends, crushes, colleagues, and boyfriends and girlfriends and all.

Teddy Bears (10th Feb)

Well, this is a bit sad, but there are times when even girls get anxious or tired during their menstrual period. Certainly, because of the mood swings. So, at times like those, they need a companion who can be there with them. This is where a Teddy Bear comes to rescue.

Hence, girls would expect their loved ones or even their friends to gift them a teddy bear. Also, if you’re thinking to buy a teddy bear for her, get that extra large sized teddy!

Promise Day (11th Feb)

Now, this is so far the most, and I repeat, the most important day of this entire Valentine week. Forget about this even being a day. A girl would never ever want anyone to give her false promises. So, if you’re thinking of promising her something, double check your mind whether you’d be able to do it or not.

It’s not about making any sort of promise to your loved one, but it’s about making the right ones. So, all the best!

Hug Day (12th Feb)

So far, hugs have been defined as the most demanded things by a couple in a relationship. So, as the propose day and promise day are over, you can hug each other.

Also, make sure that the hugs are long. Girls like long and warm hugs. So, don’t back out!

Kiss Day (13th Feb)

Okay this is something which some people want to do on the hug day only. But, it’s better to wait for this day and keep the chain continued.

None the less, this day marks as one of the most important days of the entire Valentine week. Also, kissing is one of the purest forms of expressing love for someone. So, go ahead and kiss your loved one this kiss day!

Valentine’s Day

Now comes the D-Day of this entire Valentine week. Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the memory of Saint Valentine. He was a Christian martyr and this day is celebrated to cherish his memories.

Along with that, Valentine’s day is celebrated by the couples to commemorate their relationship. You can send best valentines day messages to your loved ones from our website.
