If there is any cider vinegar which is popular in the supermarkets, then it’s apple cider vinegar. But, do you know any apple cider vinegar uses?

Today, in this blog, we’re going to talk about how you can use apple cider vinegar. But, most of the Indians don’t know what Apple cider vinegar is, right?

So, before knowing apple cider vinegar, let’s know what it is.

What is Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is a vinegar substance made from fermented apples or apple juice. So basically it has almost the same properties like lemon or coca cola. Wait, what? Did we just say coca cola? Yes! We did. We’ll talk about it later. Keep reading.

Apple Cider vinegar is prepared in two main processes. The first step is to crush the apples and add yeast which helps in fermenting the natural sugars present in it. The sugars turn into alcohol. Later on, this sugar is again fermented by adding bacteria to this solution and it turns into vinegar.

This is how Apple cider vinegar is made.

Lower Blood Sugar

You might have read about Type 2 Diabetes and how the body fails to produce insulin during this. There can be one more reason that the body has made resistance towards insulin therefore the blood sugar levels increase.

In such a case, apple cider vinegar uses are taken into consideration.

People with high blood sugar are observed to age early and get other diseases that last long.

Kills bacteria

So, continuing the Coca Cola story, Apple Cider Vinegar has some properties which can kill bacteria and stop their growth.

And it still doesn’t taste like Coca Cola though.

What we mean by that is, Apple Cider Vinegar is a vinegar compound and it has the power to clean your household stuff. You can clean copper utensils and make them shine again.

Natural Food Preservative

Okay! Don’t take this literally. But, apple cider vinegar was once used in salads and vegetables in order to inhibit bacterial growth.

There are many bacteria such as E.coli which have been seen to have stopped their growth under apple cider vinegar.

Helps in losing weight

If you have ever seen how Indian noodles or Chowmein is made, then you would have noticed that the chef adds some vinegar to it. This is done so that it gets easily digested.

Vinegar also cuts fat very fast due to its properties. There are some studies which have proven that people who take a high carbohydrate meal along with vinegar, they ended up eating 200-275 calories less throughout the day.

Good for heart and bad for cholesterol

Apple cider vinegar uses are many and we’ve discussed quite a few by now. There were some studies done on animals which have shown that vinegars cut down the cholesterol in the arteries.

Although it had been difficult to get this experiment done on humans as the life could be at risk. But, in the animals, apple cider vinegar uses were made into practical.

Muscles get energized

There are athletes who have been drinking apple cider vinegar to increase flexibility in their bones and muscles. Vinegar contains a compound known as Potassium. It is the same compound present in Bananas which again, athletes love. Bananas are known to provide instant energy and this is exactly where apple cider vinegar uses come into play.

Get rid of smell from feet

Like we told you that Apple cider vinegar uses also include cleaning of household. And if you’re embarrassed to remove your shoes out there in public because of the disgusting smell, then you must definitely do this.

Once you come home from your office or work, then moisten a thin fabric cloth in apple cider vinegar and gently wipe your feet with it.

It will help in killing the bacteria present in your feet and make it difficult for them to breed again. Also make sure that you clean your shoes. Wash them thoroughly so that they don’t end up visiting your feet again.
