Rejctx Trailer – A heady cocktail of music, mystery and teen angst

RejctX is an upcoming ZEE5 original web series targeting the youth. The series showcases the story of different young students who dream of doing something out of the box but keep failing due to various reasons.

RejctX is co-produced by Goldie Behl and Rose Movies for ZEE5. The lead cast for the show includes Sacred Games actress Kubbra Sait and Sumeet Vyas of Permanent Roommates fame. The talented star cast looks really promising in the trailer and would hopefully not disappoint us in the series which seems to have picked up a story close to today’s youth’s heart.

After the first look at the trailer, RejctX seems to have multiple storylines (of different characters) running in parallel bound by what the characters are trying to achieve in their school. It is a story where different people who have been ‘rejected’ in different situations are trying to achieve something big.

Sumeet and Kubra play Vice-Principal and Counsellor at the school. There are a number of students who play central characters in the series. Anisha Victor plays an under-confident girl who always ends up underestimating herself. She can be seen playing the role of Kiara Tiwary who often tries to sing.

On the other hand, Ahmed Masi Wali, another character in the web series by the name of Aarav Sharma, comes from an affluent political family. Kiara and Aarav form a music band by the name of REJECTS. Aarav Sharma also falls in love with Kiara Tiwary. From the trailer of RejctX, we can see both of them making out at some point of time.

The band REJECTS is an instant hit as soon as it’s formed. The band seemed to be getting great response in the web series, judging from the applauds they received at an event in the trailer.

One of the major reasons why RejctX will be an amazing hit amongst the youngsters is because of the story, energy, and the characters that will be portrayed in the series. 

Ridhi Khakhar’s character in the trailer can be hard to judge but her make-up game is pretty strong! She can be seen wearing one of the finest make-up as compared to other women in the same web series.

Saadhika Syal who’s seen wearing a Hijab in the series and playing a Muslim character is told that she’s only getting looked at by the other students because of her Hijab. Her character might be raising an important story in the context of today’s India. 

The web series has almost everything that we Indian normal school goers have always dreamt of – cheerleaders, school band, love, make-up and amazing clothes in school. So, in case you want to experience the same then this is the ideal web series to watch.

Overall, RejctX seems to be a web series that’s going to have a storyline that would connect to the youngsters.
