Karan Kundra started off with his entrepreneurial journey at the very young age of 17. He set up his International call center based out of Jalandhar, Punjab. It was a bold step of him. Later on, Karan started assisting his father in his business at the age of 18 or 19. Within a small period of time, Karan realised that he wasn’t meant to be in the career of business. And in the year 2020, Karan Kundra went some steps ahead to start a clothing line with his ex-girlfriend Anusha Dandekar, “Man Up! Woman Up!”

The sentiment behind the clothing line, was to make use of feminism and the male dominant society and cash in both the people.

Karan Kundra had been associated with the show Roadies for quite some time now. He had been the show host or as they say in the show, “gang leader”. He dropped out of the show after being in it for about two years consecutively and then he opted to choose the Bollywood movie, “Mubarakaan”. The movie featured Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz, Athiya Shetty and Rahul Dev.

His role as the gang leader was taken over by his desire to become an actor in the Bollywood industry. This would in turn provide him more fame and reach more people in India. Karan was playing the role of an NRI Punjabi. He was also seen posting numerous photos and videos from the sets, he uploaded pictures with Anil Kapoor and other star cast as he couldn’t control himself.

There was one more reason to drop out of the Roadies show following the slap episode that happened. Karan Kundra was interviewing one candidate for the show who murdered his sister in the past. During the heated argument, Kundra couldn’t stop himself and ended up slapping the contestant. 

In 2014, Karan Kundra was slapped with a mental harassment case from his ex-manager, Sonia Singh. Sonia complained that Karan was harassing her and filed a police complaint in Malad Police Station, Mumbai. In a bid to give his justification, Karan said that, “Sonia is like my sister. She never managed me, but treated me like a friend. We were good friends, but she started interfering in my personal life, which I do not like. After that I started keeping distance from her, but after a few days she threatened suicide. I was getting worried, so I took help from my father and friends in this matter. They advised me to stay away from Sonia And complain against her. I did the same. In Jalandhar I filed a complaint against her and didn’t talk to her for 6 months. She is doing such ludicrous acts just to get sympathy. As for me, I am fully cooperating with the police.”

Slapping a co-star scene. In a 2015 TV serial ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum,’ Karan Kundra’s co-star Saanvi Talwar had to slap him. For the scene, she slapped him very hard and Karan couldn’t like it as well. Later on, when the scene was cut, he slapped her back immediately.
