Get that Rare feeling of owning the world – with The House of Rare

We are always on a look out for fashion brands with modern taste to help us get dressed for that “casual evening”, “brunch with friends” or for “a meeting with the client”. And recently we came across one such company that we adore – The House of Rare. We have our favorite brands in ethnic wear such as FabIndia but the space for favorite modern wear brand was still empty and now the spot has been taken.

The company operates two brands – “Rare Rabbit” and “Rareism”. Rare Rabbit aims to make Indian men more stylish while Rareism is targeted towards women.

The website offers 500+ products across top wear, bottom wear and fashion accessories for women. It also offers products for men across categories including top wear, bottom wear and footwear.

Rareism has a huge collection of Tops and Dresses with unmistakenly fresh and comtemporary designs for the modern Indian girl. We fell in love with the pieces and how elegantly they were shown through impeccable and fresh photoshoots. Frankly speaking, the whole look and feel of the website was way better than our normal destinations including H&M and Zara.

Since, we had our eyes on the women’s wear: We got five pieces from their collection. Here, is our review of those five pieces once they have been delivered to us:

First and foremost, the fabric quality is top notch and had a luxurious feel across all five pieces. Full points to the brand for that since majority of the brands are trying to pinch pennies in this aspect of the garments.

Tempt – Trousers – Green

Just fell in love with these trousers. This is my favorite color and just loved the piece. It’s a straight parallel pant till ankle length and can be worn in any casual gathering or as office wear. The self fabric belt takes the attractiveness of this piece to the next level. This can be worn with a classic coloured top or a shirt and statement heels.

Women’s denim – Navy

What is a wardrobe without a horde of blue denims. So, had to buy one of them for sure. Got this lovely slim fit blue denim piece. This looked comfortable from the photoshoot on product page and is made of 100% pure cotton fabric. Loving the fit of the piece and look forward to wearing it my t-shirt stock. It is perfect for college and casual date amongst other uses.

Green Overlay

Still can’t get over the elegance of this overlay. This again is 100% cotton and can make any outfit look magical through its elegance. Wear it with any casual dress or top/pant pair. This can be worn in offices or for casual/semi-casual engagements. In fact, this would go well with crop tops/short tops/shorts and would give that perfect look. And of course any layering aficionado would adore this piece.

Calf Length Black Dress

Black Dress is another staple that you need in your wardrobe. However I am not just talking about the LBD. This is a calf length black dress with a silhouette to drool over. This can make you stand out in any formal gathering and can be paired with smart heels and side clutch. For the fabric Nazis, this dress is made from Cotton Lycra bended material.

Plain Slub Women’s Top – Blue

The first thing that attracted me to this top was its innovative collar. It is a perfect foil for casual evenings and brunches. It would go well with black/blue trousers.

In summary, Rareism is one brand that any girl with modern taste would adore and after getting their stuff – we also can vouch that it’s not just stylish stuff but is of utmost quality.
