Dandasana means a position of punishment. Danda means punishment and Asana, as you know is pose. In this yoga exercise, you need to have a trainer to support you.

Firstly, you’d need to hold your palms and fingers entwined. Sit on your knees. Go backwards and fold your back till your elbows touch the ground. Now, rest your entire forearm on the ground. Keep your face on the ground. Now, slowly stretch your legs in the forward direction and make a bow.
