What FreeWill has done is tremendous. All you have to do is, take an online questionnaire on their website that takes less than 2 minutes to complete. And based on your answers, the site will automatically recommend the products your hair needs.
Online Hair Assessment
The online hair assessment on FreeWill was one of the most comprehensive assessments we have seen. This Assessment has three major sections – Hair Profile, External Factors and Preferences.
In the Hair Profile section, your hair length, thickness, volume etc are ascertained. External factors section maps factors such as your location, hair appliances used, hair treatment taken etc to ascertain the impact on hair while the Preferences section your hair goals, favorite color are asked and hold your breath – What needs to be printed on your bottle is asked. I asked them to print “Rapunzel”.
Based on these questions, the website will recommend a product your hair needs.
Once the assessment gets done, you will see a detailed report on your screen which will tell you how you have been doing for your hair all this while.
When you reach the bottom of the page, you will see a button that says, See Your Ingredients. Clicking on it will show you the raw ingredients which can help you. Now on the next screen you can see a personalized product which you can use to improve the condition of your hair.
Then you can select the quantity of the product recommended and buy it anytime. The website also tells for how long a bottle would last in regular usage.
Product Review
After our assessment was done, we were recommended the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Serum as per our test. The product comes in beautiful transparent bottles in which you can clearly see the shampoo, and conditioner. The color of our shampoo and conditioner was sea green and it really looks aesthetic in our bathroom. Both shampoo and conditioner come in a squeeze to pull out bottles which is very easy to use as while bathing, it becomes really difficult to open bottles.
