Indian women enjoy wearing lehengas. The saree also fits this description. Consider wearing a lehenga instead of your traditional saree outfit! We will tell you how to wear saree like lehenga.

1. HALF SAREE HALF LEHENGA

The initial fashion craze is still popular among celebrities. We encountered a lot of criticism when we first showed how to drape a half-saree with a lehenga online. However, celebrities have only recently shown a strong interest in and skill at executing this stylish look. Simply put, we managed to develop an extremely efficient half-saree draping method.

2. WEAR THE CLASSIC DRAPE SAREE LIKE LEHENGA

The conventional drape is a simple and often used pattern, yet it is nevertheless beautiful. Take one end of the saree and pleat it all the way down to achieve this effect. The pleated section should be pinned to the left shoulder, while the longer fabric should stay in the front. From the front all the way to the back, wrap the flowing end around your blouse and lehenga. Put it in a left-side tuck at your mid-waist.

3. HALF SAREE HALF LEHNEGA WITH BACK PLEATS

With our list, we’re off to a terrific start! The lehenga-style saree drape is well worth the extra work, even if it requires more of it. Starting with pleats on the pallu, which are then brought to the rear with a clean fall in the front, it is made with pleats on the front and back again. Particularly body-flattering is the frontal development of a V-shape.

4. WEAR THE CASUAL DRAPE SAREE IN LEHENGA

Start with the basic tuck on the right and wrap the saree once around the petticoat. Start at the right and create two-inch (5.08-cm) wide pleats that are turned to the left and tucked in at the waist. As you continue to pin the lengthwise part into pleats, the material should be tucked forward after each pleat. Once you get to the pallu, fold it inward and tuck it to the right. The saree is now complete and ready to be worn as a lehenga.

5. WEAR THE BRACELET DRAPE SAREE IN LEHENGA

The informal drape has been modified by this method. Take the longer part of the saree that extends past the right shoulder, leaving the shorter end behind. The longer piece should be gathered into a single pleat, dragged over to the left side, and worn like a bracelet around the wrist. It has to be secured with a pin. To make the piece hanging to the right in front look neater, pin it to the line of your blouse.

6. WEAR SAREE IN LEHENGA CHOLI LOOK

typical saree that has been altered to resemble a lehenga. The leftover material is positioned in the back and carried over the shoulder so that it falls in front. Here, it can hang freely like a dupatta or be carefully pleated for a polished appearance. The first half is worn with far-off spread pleats in the nivi style.

7. WEAR SAREE IN LEHENGA STYLE WITH FRONTPLEATS

Similar to the top design, but stopping the pleating at the left and tucking about a foot of fabric over in a diagonal alignment over the front waist to hide the pleated tucks. Drape the pallu of the remaining saree from back to front, making pleats for the shoulder. The front bodice should be placed over the pinched shoulder on the left.

8. WEAR HEAVY BANARASI SILK SAREE IN LEHENGA

This is the most inventive way to wear a lehenga saree, if that’s what you’re wondering. Small-width pleats are placed all around the saree’s waist to give it a fluffy appearance reminiscent of the regal lehengas worn by the aristocracy. To effortlessly drape a lehenga like a saree, choose materials with sequins or banarasi silk.

9. WEAR SAREE LIKE LEHENGA DUPATTA

This is a typical South Indian rendition of saree and lehenga attire. worn over a lehenga and used as a dupatta. The saree should be gathered into thick pleats on the non-pallu end, tucked in on the left side, wrapped around your waist, and the pallu end crossed over your left shoulder.

10. HALF SAREE HALF DUPATTA

Using a saree as a lehenga without purchasing a new blouse or dupatta is possible. Starting from behind, make a series of little pleats around the waist. Once you reach the front, stop pleating and grab the pallu from behind before pulling it over your shoulder. Contrary to traditional Gujarati practice, letting the dupatta fall to the floor would make you look more attractive.

11. HALF PLEATED HALF DUPATTA BACK

This needs a lehenga as a basis, preferably one with contrasting colors. The saree’s pleats begin in the center and extend back to form a dupatta that hangs over the shoulder. a style that works well with various types of materials.

12. HALF PLEATED HALF DUPATTA FRONT

Similar to the one before it, this drape beautiful drapery that is simple to use. Instead of being carried to the back and coming over the shoulder, the pallu is dragged forward and wrapped entirely around the waist. It is then pleated in the traditional nivi fashion to fit over the left shoulder.

13. BACK AND FRONT PLEATED

A tempting technique is to wear the entire saree as the lehenga. This works best with even fabrics like tissue and georgette. The middle of the front and the center of the back are where pleats are created after one and a half basic rounds of saree wrapping around the waist. This drape gives off a distinctive swirling effect.
