We have been battling for the safety and pride of women in our society since quite a long time, but still there some fickle minded people living in India never leave any opportunity to amaze us every single time with their utter behavior towards women.
Another such incident came into the frame where students appearing for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test or NEET in Kannur were allegedly forced to take off their innerwear before appearing for their exam just because of the metal present in it.

Girls at the TISK English Medium School, Kunhimangalam near Koovapram in Payyannur were forced to do this just 10 minutes before their exams that too without allowing them to change it in a nearby toilet or house. Thankfully, the staff was all filled with ladies constables, but even then the act cannot be justified where many students broke in tears after facing such harassment.
Even parents were shocked to see such behavior and some of them even raised questions over the authorities for leading such rubbish rules.
“It is shocking that my daughter had to undergo such an ordeal and remove her top innerwear to appear for the examination but there was no other option and she was forced to do so. I am a teacher and I know the psychology of the teenagers; this will definitely affect their confidence, and we are thinking of taking legal measures.”
Things like these made a huge impact on student’s confidence and some of them even speak out their mind:-
“THE INCIDENTS SHATTERED MY CONFIDENCE IN ATTENDING THE EXAMINATION, FOR WHICH I HAD BEEN PREPARING FOR A YEAR.”
Imagine the agony of students who underwent such a trauma just because they wanted to appear for an exam. And then we talk about “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” movement which just seems ironic.
