What is Ovulation
Ovulation is a period of time in a menstrual cycle when your ovary releases an egg into the fallopian tube. This is done because the body is expecting to have an egg fertilized. It’s all natural and nothing to feel bad about. This process starts as the girl starts menstruating from the age of 13 years old or so.
Now, the ovulation process is only a hint given by the body to tell you that it’s a good time to conceive if it wants. For keeping a good mother and baby health, it is recommended to have kids after the age of 21 years old.
Normal Ovulation Cycle
By saying Normal in ovulation cycle, we’re trying to tell you that there are signs of ovulation which can predict abnormal cycle as well. So, if you have also been getting abnormal ovulation cycle, then you must know its signs.
A normal ovulation cycle means that if your menstrual cycle is of 28 to 31 days, then normally you would ovulate on 13th or 14th day of the menstrual cycle.
In case of abnormal signs of ovulation, the mother may face problems to predict when you’re going to ovulate.
Therefore, for a menstrual cycle of 21 days or less, the ovulation may happen on the 7th day of the menstrual cycle.

Signs of Ovulation
There are various things which happen in a woman’s body during ovulation. So, in order to have a clear idea about it, you can check for these signs of ovulation.
When to expect it
Ovulation is a hint given by the body that this is the perfect time to conceive a baby with almost 90% success rate.
There are many people who say that you must conceive on the day of ovulation and expect a baby with full confidence. But, this is a myth. You can’t rely on the day of ovulation to expect a child. Although, there is no denying that a baby can’t be born if it’s conceived on the day of ovulation. But, it’d be better if you take a day or two from the ovulation process.
Cervical mucus testing
In order to estimate your own ovulation cycle, you can follow this technique. Clean your finger and insert it in your vagina and remove some of the mucus inside it. Generally, this mucus is white in color. But, it depends on person to person. So, take out some of the mucus and stretch it between your index-finger and thumb. If the mucus is stretchy, white and slimy, then it’s a high chance you’re good for conceiving.
Breasts soreness and nipple tightening
There’s no denying that during ovulation, a lot of hormones get rushed into the blood stream. This is the time when you may expect yourself to be highly attracted to your partner and coitus. This usually happens very much during and after ovulation. Hence, if you can notice this change other than getting flown away with the hormone rush, then you know that it’s a good sign.
Sensing some activity in abdomen
There are some women who are highly sensitive to whatever is happening around them. So basically, the women may feel something happening inside their abdomen. They can literally feel some sort of activity happening inside their fallopian tube and uterus.
They can also expect to have a little bit of pain during this session. This is not some high intensity pain just like the one in periods, but it’s some sort of sweet pain. After all, having kids can also be sweet with a little bit of pain, right?
